Metropolis Ocular Visit

Weeks after James told his parents about our wedding plans, his folks suggested for our reception to be held at a clubhouse in a subdivision where they live. So after a month we scheduled to check the clubhouse for ourselves.

We dropped by last Sunday and when we got there, there were cars parked and found out that there's an event. A play being held at the covered court and program for the kids at the small hall that looks like a huge gazebo. It's a church activity if my memory serves me right. We were entertained by the lady, who I think, is very sincere. She gave us all the information we needed and although there was a program, she allowed us to take pictures of the venue anyway.

The small hall
It's so small for wedding receptions. But it's nice! It has a high ceiling and almost looks like a glass house. But it's just too small. I really don't think 50 people will fit in here.

The main hall
Inside
It's a lot bigger and has it's own prep room and bathroom. Around 150 people will fit in here. The main hall costs P6,000 including electricity and water. But if you're a homeowner, they will slash P1,000 off the price. P5,000 is not bad at all, in fact it's a steal compared to venues in Manila. But there's an area where the ceiling is low and an area where it's really high. Didn't find an aircon installed or even an electric fan, just natural air but it felt okay considering we went there at almost noon time.

Parking
Parking lot is a no problem. They have more than enough space for cars.

The clubhouse is not far from the main gate, in fact it will just take you a minute to get there. There's security, too, so we won't be worrying about gate crashers or thieves.

It was our first ocular visit and we forgot to ask a few things. I will probably bring my handy dandy wedding notebook next time we're checking out something so I won't be forgetting anything.

Next: St. Francis church and ocular for our PLAN B which is wedding in Manila  ;)
